The Elk County Community Foundation is known for giving scholarships and grants to other non-profits in Elk County and surrounding communities, but that is not our business. Our real business is helping people, families, groups, and businesses be philanthropic or charitable. We provide the administrative and investment management services that make it easy for donors to accomplish their charitable wishes with their tax deductible donations and to improve the quality of life in our communities.

Sara-Jane Stackpole Legacy Society

The Sara-Jane Stackpole Legacy Society recognizes all those who have notified us that they have included the Foundation in their will or other deferred giving plan. The name of the Society honors one of the Foundations’ founding advisory board members, Sara-Jane Stackpole, who passed away on October 25, 2006. She gave the Foundation its first-ever planned gift.
