St. Marys Public Library received an amount
of $1236.86 from two funds. Their own
agency endowed fund and a field of interest
from the Kiwanis for Children's Programs at
the library. These fund will be used to run the
summer reading program. Scarlette
Scrimshaw was on hand to receive the check. |

Other Donor Advised and Endowment grants approved
so far this year are:
From the Harrison C. Stackpole Family Donor Advised
Fund the Boys & Girls Club of St. Marys received $2,000. In addition the
Boys and Girls Club of St. Marys endowment Fund granted the organization
$653.93. From the Muriel Dauer Stackpole Family Donor Advised Fund $4,000 was
distributed to the Elk County Council on the Arts and $4000 to the St. Marys
Christian Food Bank who also received $503.92 from their agency endowment
fund. The Education Income Tax Credit Program gave $800 grants to both St. Marys
Area School District and Ridgway Area School District for digital streaming
equipment and programs. Elk County
Summer Concert Committee received $4,000 for the 2008 Summer Concert Series. Representing the foundation are
